*ROW acres are based on typical cross sections for each package and assumes improvements are along the existing US 85 centerline. The Preferred Strategy will refine these assumptions and evaluate ways to further minimize right-of-way requirements.
**Air quality is calculated using change in vehicle miles traveled (VMT) and a rate of pollutant. The rate of pollutant is unavailable at this time. VMT is shown as an indicator of the change in air quality resulting from each package, since it is the only variable in the calculation.
Additional environmental considerations that are being looked at for each package is the permeability of the transportation corridor, noise impacts in regards to the wildlife, and the integration of US 85 improvements within the framework of the Chatfield Conservation Network Plan.
