The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has completed the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the South I-25 Corridor and US 85 Corridor between Lincoln Avenue and Castle Rock, and the Record of Decision has been signed.  In October of 2002, the ROD was revised.  The revised version of this document is now available on this site for viewing.  (To see this document, either click on the ROD icon to the right, or choose the Documents link in the top navigation bar.)

The EIS process aimed at improving the transportation system by determining the specific areas of need, identifying and addressing the issues, and evaluating the practical feasibility of the various design solutions. The final results is an overall strategy for transportation improvements along the corridor through the next 20 years and beyond.
