Project Description

Location

The project extends along Titan Road from Plum Creek to US 85, and along US 85 from approximately 0.7 miles (1.1 km) north to 0.1 miles (0.2 km) south of the Titan Road Intersection.

Detailed Project Description

Titan Road will be realigned from immediately east of the Plum Creek Bridge and will cross US 85 approximately 0.2 miles (0.4 km) to the north of the existing Titan Road/US 85 Intersection. Grade separated crossings will be provided along the realigned Titan Road over both the UP and BNSF railroad tracks, and the resulting Titan Road Interchange will be constructed at US 85.

The remainder of the project consists of various realignments and improvements to local streets within the project area:

• Wildfield Lane will be extended to the north and realigned to provide improved local access through the interchange.
• New local access roads are planned to the north and south of realigned Titan Road and will provide access to Titan Park Circle, Titan Court, and the local businesses.
• Other elements included with the project are retaining walls, utilities, stormwater drainage facilities, signing, and striping.
