Current Construction Projects

I-25 Projects in Douglas County
I-25 Widening; New Plum Creek Interchange Complete! 
CDOT and the Town of Castle Rock celebrated the completion of the I-25/Plum Creek Interchange reconstruction project at a grand opening ceremony on Friday, December 18, 2009.  Please see the News Release from CDOT for details of this event.

Resurfacing project on I-25 between Douglas Lane & Tomah Road, which was temporarily on-hold, due to a shortage of materials, has resumed.  Please see CDOT's latest News Release for more information on how this will affect your commute.

A Public Open House was held in Castle Rock on Monday, April 21, 2008.  Please see the I-25 Projects page for more information.

I-25 Frontage Road to open Sept. 4, 2009.  Schweiger (Exit 191) and Surrey Ridge (Exit 190) interchanges to close permanently.  Please see the latest News Release from CDOT for details. 

Archaeological excavations at the site of the I-25/Ridgegate Interchange were completed in July 2006.  See the South I-25 Widening page for more information on this interesting discovery!
